The ever increasing human pressure on landscapes and the overuse of biological resources have caused degradation of wildlife habitat, bringing a number of species to the brink of extinction. This shows that, natural resources and the natural environment are extremely important for the survival of species.The expert assessments of species status were carried out in compliance with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) categories and indicators.
